It' s been a long time coming, but since America has been slowly improving equality for all opportunities across the board, Black people have been discrediting every racist standard that America placed upon us. We as a people, have proved that when given the opportunity, Not only do we meet the challenges that are stated we can't meet, but we excel far beyond the standards that they have set.
What U.S. Presidential Innauguration Ball have you ever seen given this much publicity and multimedia press. We have in President Barack Obama, an iconic historical figure, who "happens" to be Black.....!!! His blackness takes a backseat to his prowess and intelligence. We don't honor him simply because he's black, but instead we choose to honor his leadership qualities and the intellectual edge that he has over many of our previous Presidents....!!! President Barack Obama moves with such ryhthm, his articulate mannerisms, his style and grace, his very presence and aura commands the attention of everyone around him.
We live in an age where charcter finally "seems" to measure, determine, and differentiate. There is such a spirit on us as a people that when we are placed in positions of challenge and or struggle, we activate what seems to be our instinctive drive to survive, adopt, and exceed "All" limitations placed upon us......!!!
