The Rise of Troopa Traloopa.

Troopa Traloopa has distinguished himself as a Selector/Promoter. Trooper entered Dance hall reggae as a dancer, mashing up places like Temptations, Amazura, C-Pac, "The Rock" formerly located in Canarsie on Rockaway ave in bklyn, and Albany Manor (Night Flight) to name a few.

Recently we have seen many famous dancers who have used their talents as a stepping stone to attain greater achievements. It all began with "Father Bogle", the "Un-Crowned King" of Dance hall reggae, who landed a multi-million deal through his fame as a dancer, exactly one month before he was murdered. Bogle set the trend for every dancer to see continued prosperity through their dancing.

We all know how dancers such as Ding-Dong, Marvin, Black Bling, Skerrit Bwoy, "Wacky" Fresh-Prince, Latonya Styles, Dyma (Attitude),Over-Mars, Energy Gal, Ravers Clavers, Atomic Dancers, Popeye, and Sample Six, have all used their talents to gain much credit and fame in the industry. Ding dong has used his talents to become an Artist/Dee Jay. Wacky Fresh Prince, from the Rolling Stones fraternity (Long-side Ricky Blaze) has also used his fame as a dancer to achieve greater heights. But Troopa Traloopa has decided to do things a little different.

Trooper as a Selector has become a very popular and competitive name with great speed. His drive and stride to be numbered among the best is impressive. He can be seen in dances with his good friend Noah "Wit da Power" (Son Son fr. The Movie Bashment), Chris Cross, and when he`s in town, even Foota Hype to name a few.

Characterized as Bklyn`s version of Mr. Bem Beh (Richie Feelings), because of his Infamous Bem Beh Tuesday`s formerly @ Universal Resort, but now @ Club Temptations in Bklyn on Church ave. Troopa has acquired some very special "Dub Plates" to his arsenal of Bem Beh Tunes. Known on the street as bklyn`s Alliance D.j, Traloopa has definitely made himself a name to be rembered, maybe even envied....!!!

Troopa`s association with Bounty Killer`s Alliance is a tough notch on the Young Selector`s belt. His bday party held this past December, was hosted by none other than the Alliance`s newest member Serani, who himself is also rising fast in fame. I personally have heard the specials that the Alliance D.j`s have cut for Trooper, and they are some pretty tough specials indeed, giving Mr. Traloopa a competitive edge above some Selectors who have been in the business much longer.

Trooper Tralooper is a perfect example of the avenues that are open and available to dancers in Reggae Music. If utilized properly, not only can their talents put money in their pocket, but it can also gain them much fame and credible notariety.
