Over 10 years ago Jabba joined Bobby Konders and formed the Massive B sound system, with Jabba hailing from the Bronx and Bobby from Brooklyn, these two transformed mainstream radio into an outlet of authentic and raw Reggae music. They became an instant hit and were welcomed with open arms to join the Fraternity of legendary D.j`s @ Hot 97.
The specials that came from the union of Bobby and Jabba were creative and cutting edge. They were responsible for taking raw dance hall music and making it mainstream music on the New York City radio stations. They created some tuff riddims in the late 90`s going into 2000, and from 2000 till now they are responsible for "bussing" the career of some artists on their fiery ridddims. But Jabba of Massive B has set his heights a little higher and has seized the attention of the Reggae dance hall lovers.
Jabba has taken his status quo and has made his name so marketable that he landed a Role in the Jamaican film "Shottaz", as Dangles the Foot soldier of a rival gang against Spragga Benz and Kymani Marley. Jabba is considered one of the heavyweights among the top Jamaican selectors. His year to year birthday party - Jabba Strikes back - is always a sold out event with the most talented Reggae artists of the year making a special appearance and performing in his honor. It is at these events that you begin to get a vivid glimpse of the man behind the mic on Hot 97 weekly radio show broadcasting on Sunday`s from 10p.m.-1a.m.
Jabba is a very unique selector, his versatility as an entertainer is quite astonishing. Aside from his year to year birthday party, he also Hosts an annual "Modeling Affair" in which he gives away prizes that range from expensive Jewelry to Fur coats. These acts have solidified the "Top ah Top" status that he has. As a veteran host he has Judged sevral World Clash events. Hot 97 throws an annual Reggae concert entitled on the Reggae tip in which the best of the best in Dance Hall reggae take stage and together with the best dancers of Jamaica and New York, they "bun da place down". With these notches on his belt Jabba is fast rising to become an iconic figure in Dance Hall entertainment.

Bobby Chin, from Black Chiney sound, was viciously beaten and hospitalized on yesterday morning after the finaly from the best of the best Miami memorial weekend. The dance held at Mansion, was called
NY vs Miami. Words were thrown on stage by the selectors from NY and Miami and in the end, ALL from NY punked out and did not want to play
any more tune. After security left and thought they squashed it, on the way out, he was attacked by Jabba (Massive B) and Young Chow from hot 97, Platinum kids from Bronx and Pretty Posse from Queens.
